Stewardship is a common term in Catholic parishes. It comes from the Bible: "As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace" (1 Peter 4:10). Christ Our Light has a long history of service – that's why almost 25% of our parishioners travel here from outside Cherry Hill. To continually renew our vibrancy, the parish celebrates four annual stewardship weekends. These weekends focus us on our prayer life; our care for God's Creation; and our use of time, talent, and treasure.

During each weekend, parishioners indicate their forms of stewardship through in-pew commitment cards. These weekends are an invitation to some parishioners to become involved in new ways and an acknowledgement and renewal of longstanding commitments for others. If you missed a weekend, click on the links in the table above to download the commitment card. You may print it, fill it in, and return to the parish office.
